Every commercial building, store and place of assembly is required to have emergency and exit lighting. Occupants need to move around safely during a power outage. These lights and signs play a crucial role in assisting occupants to evacuate safely.
Allied Fire Control Services inspects and services all emergency lighting and signage in accordance with NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) Life Safety Code 101. The code mandates that emergency lighting works for a minimum of 90 minutes. We offer 90 minute and push button testing, bulb and battery replacement, battery lead and terminal cleaning and preventive maintenance programs. We can also remove obsolete signage and disposal of used batteries in accordance with waste management law. Upon completion of the inspection we provide annual inspection stickers.
